Who is Malicious?

Owners Nathan Kennedy and Dave O'Callaghan both grew up riding BMX, well into our late teens. We love hardcore and metal music. Our passion to start Malicious Clothing stemmed from this scene. We wanted to make clothing that would be unique, just like our favourite labels, but our own original work.Chief designer Nathan Kennedy, is a tattoo artist from West Gippsland, Victoria. Nathan draws inspiration for his completely original art from his background and passion in tattoos. Our clothing is not permanent like a tattoo but Nathan doesn't see it that way. He puts as much effort and motivation into Malicious Clothing as he does his tattoos.Co-owner Dave O'Callaghan does the work required to get the designs from pencil and paper, onto a tshirt. He takes care of all the necessary graphic design, and deals with the manufacturers.As well as this he manages the website, sales and marketing.
BMX, dirt bikes, tattoos and hardcore music. That's what we're into, that's what our friends are into, and that's kind of person our clothing is targeted towards. In brief, we only design clothes that we would wear ourselves.We wanted to make a clothing brand that was fresh and unique. Something for riders, something for hardcore/metal lovers, something that would stand out amongst a crowd of Unit's and ED Hardy's.Unique was easy, Malicious Clothing is owned by a tattoo artist. A good one at that. The proof is in the designs.At Malicious Clothing we aspire to produce a top quality product that will last.Wherever possible, our clothing is printed using the best quality American and Australian made garments. And all printing is done using the best quality inks and techniques. No iron-on transfers here.
